Horizons has a long and affectionate affiliation with Rotary. We were chosen to be the production company for ‘Service Above Self’, the documentary celebrating their centennial; we have produced a PSA for Rotary One in Chicago, the club that started it all in 1905; and we’re currently working on another short video about Rotary One. All of this stems from the fact that Rick has been a member for over 15 years, as well as previously serving on the board and doing lots of PR and media relations work on Rotary’s behalf.
I have been very lucky to attend a few meetings as Rick’s guest over the past year and hear speakers like Mayor Daley, Emily Barr, John McCain, Pat Ryan, and Cardinal George, to name but a few. I didn’t attend Tuesday’s lunch, but Rick and Katie did.
